A small tool for clear angle mathematics.
A browser-based reference for converting angles without hiding the working.
What this tool is
Radians & Degrees Converter is an independent static educational utility. It supports radians-to-degrees and degrees-to-radians conversions with formulas, worked steps, exact symbolic answers where justified, and configurable decimal output.
Why it was created
Angle conversions are simple but easy to mistype or round too early. The tool puts the unit relationship and calculation beside the answer so learners can check their reasoning.
Who can use it
Students, teachers, programmers, engineers, and anyone reviewing trigonometry can use the calculators. For high-stakes work, verify results with an appropriate authoritative method.
Supported expressions
Enter decimals, negative values, parentheses, and safe arithmetic expressions such as π/2, 3π/4, 2π, and 1.5. No JavaScript evaluation is used.
How results work
Calculations run in the browser. Exact π forms are shown when the input preserves a defensible symbolic relationship; otherwise the site shows a decimal approximation. Decimal output is rounded only for display and never presented as more precise than selected.
Privacy-conscious design
Calculator values are processed locally and are not submitted to an application database. Normal hosting infrastructure may still process technical request logs, and future advertising services may process data as described in the privacy policy.
Current limitations
This is a focused converter, not a complete computer algebra system. It does not evaluate arbitrary functions, provide graphing, or replace a calculator used for safety-critical decisions.
